Some people look at you funny when you tell them that you devote much of your time to slashing people on TV shows that are not meant to be slashed.

I get a few eyebrow lifts, but considering who I am and that my friends HAVE known me for a while, it's usually glazed over by my recent fuckery :D

yeah, my problem is that my semi-conservative family would really NOT approve of fanfiction, especially the type i read/write...

most of my other friends, however, do know and dont really care. i have 3 RL friends on LJ who are 3 of my best friends, and they read and/or write fic as well, so they get it.

You know how nice it would be to have one or more RL friends whom I could meet up with and toss a flashdrive with some WIP's at them and be like, "Read this. I need your approval and/or judgment."

BTW, I actually say "and/or"...

i beta my friend's fic, but i dont really ask them to beta mine, idk. they tend to not ship the same things as me, though they're in the same fandoms :(

11 is kinda early, but it's a necessary rule for me, otherwise i don't do homework. also, i still sleep ridiculously early sometimes
