So it looks like i arrived in town just in time to catch the last of the nice summer weather, as today's torrential downpours can only mean that autumn is here and winter not too far off. i made a point of getting up and leaving the house early this morning so as not to be envelopped by the warm numbing blanket of slack that seems to creep up over ( Read more... )

i was thinking about you yesterday when i was walking home form work and i noticed they tore down our drinking deck by the fire side eatery.
i wish i was going to halifax.
but there is nothing there for me.
i really want to be going to toronto to see career sucide and fucked.
but no funds is holding me back.
aww shit.

You couldn't have found a better town to walk around smooching in. I know because I've done it. With that friend of your GF's sister, no less. How funny! What a ridiculously small world this one can be. Glad to hear you sounding so peaceful and rested. :)

PS: OMG. This might not sound significant to anyone else, but the guy I just referred to turned me on to Stiff Little Fingers ("Bits of Kids" specifically) and, to this day, they remind me of being in Halifax. I even bought a SLF T-shirt from a very good, very small independent record shop there, and I just noticed they were the soundtrack to this post of yours. :)

i tend to make it to the sunday serving more often than the thursday one as it is just a couple of blocks down the street from sketchator v.902.....i'll most likely see you around though.
