my mac fucking KO'd. i'm on my PC. diedieihateyousickdeathdie. i brought it in to an apple service place today and i can't decide whether i'm pissed or happy that they seemed just as boggled by the fact that my computer gave up, without so much as an exasperated sigh, yesterday afternoon and is now stubbornly refusing to boot up

People have been having Mac problems recently. Aaron got a Powerbook with a bad hard drive, and I had some hardware problem that involved sending the thing away. Now it's back but I can't figure out how to reconfigure it for the internet. I'm leaving that alone until UMass. They can do it for me, since the setup will be different there anyways.

And you may have gotten out of school later but you graduate a day ahead of me!

yeah, i consulted the online support forums and there were all sorts of threads citing the same problem that i was having.

sadly, i've learned to sickeningly adore my mac, so i'm all disappointed and kind of cynical now. hopefully, upon the receipt of my newly repaired computer, it won't fuck up anymore...
