well, while I haven't been in a situation like yours, I CAN tell you however that living out on your own is really hard x.x especially when you like to buy stuff =P but then if something happens with your job it's a real problem x.x

as far as your dad goes...it sounds like he worked hard to get up to a good position and he doesn't want it to go to waste...even though it won't particularly help you out personally =P I think it's more like...if you get the high score in a game, you wanna tell people, you know? At least I think it's like that, partially anyway =P

also...I loooove pirates =O girls and boys, lol

Thanks for your view on things roll. '_' It helps me look at it at another perspective. ._. Your score analogy makes a lot of sense. ^^

I understand that problems like that happen when you're on your own, but I'm prepared for the consenquences of my actions and I need to be independant eventually, right? ^^

Yeah, I really like pirates too! XD -but since the Pirates of the Caribean movies got so big, my tolerance to pirate themed things has dropped dramatically. >.< Maybe it's because they showed comercials of part 3 everywhere and all the time in Taiwan when it came out. >.

you should have a stand-up-to-your-dad moment with your list of expectations. it's good for your character :)

Hey man, could be worse. I have three degrees, am disillusioned with my field of study, and owe this damn state 29,000 bucks, and my brother who never went to college still makes more than me. U.S.A.! U.S.A.! 8D

You and I should make a deal. You finish a comic and try to sell it by the end of the year and I'll do the same for my crappy stories. We SHOULD shoot for something beyond the mundane nature of our current lives. And dude, your comics could totally sell here. Do man! DO IT NOW~! :3

My bold proclamation at the end is made so much less effective by the omission of an "it"... ^^;

lol, you so easily make me laugh. XD -yeah, can be worse. ^^

So you really wanna make a deal? XD I'm for it if you are. =p By the way, you gonna post more Yuu art? XD

I'm really happy to hear you say that my comics will "totally sell." ^^ It's a real boost of confidence (even though I haven't really done comics. ^^;)-anyhow, things will be great and we will prosper! ^.^

"Do man!" LOL XD

Dude, you're in the ideal environment to do a comic now! I know you're thinking you're not pulling your own weight, but trust me, pulling your own weight and drawing a comic at the same time suck (Remember when I finished my 40+ page project? That was with summer school, kendo, and painting dad's house all at once. And remember, nobody likes my art. Everybody likes Ling's art~ ;D). But yeah, dude. Let's make a deal. I'll post more art too. I'm just trying to get this damn printer working. ^^;

I'm sure you could get something printed in the states if you put your mind to it. Just got to do it! DO IT NOW! MAN! DO MAN!!! 83
