I wrote that scene right after Abandoned, but I wanted them to hold him if only for a minute. It broke my heart wrting it though, but he so needed them so badly. I'm happy you liked it.
I'm so nervous about this story, as you can imagine. Thank you so much for coming over and reviewing!:D
I've really been looking forward to you posting this story. The beginning was wonderful it really tugged at my heart. I feel so badly for Clark and what he's going through. I can't wait to see where you take him on this journey.
Oh, hey sweetie. I love your manip; it's perfect!! Thank you so much for the review.
Clark has suffered enough over Lois's passing and this was my way of helping him heal and move on. No one wants to think about Clark outliving Lois, but I did in my earlier story. It's upsetting but I managed to get through it. *takes deep breath* It wasn't easy, believe me.
Hi, sweetie!! Yes, and their 'connection' will play a big part in the story. You'll see.
Wow, Lois lived a LONG time!
Yes, she did, being close to Clark enabled her to live a lot longer than you would expect. I won't say exactly how old she was when she died, let's just say .. 'well over 100'!!:D:D
Aw, this chapter was so sad! Well, I knew it had to be but you did it so well.
1000 years, and then seeing her again and having to say goodbye... You showed his emotions so well.
Also, this line was just perfect:
As he drew in the memories of those few minutes with her, he sealed them away inside his heart, and then played them again in his mind’s eye over and over again.
1000 years, and then seeing her again and having to say goodbye... You showed his emotions so well.
Thank you sweetie. I felt it was imperative to show how much he does miss her, even after all that time. But even after writing those scenes in the first story, I couldn't help but wonder about future!Clark and the 'what-if' scenario of his outliving Lois.
I loved that line too..! Thank you hon. I'm happy you enjoyed it, even though it was sad and emotional.

I absolutely loved the scene between Kal-El and his parents. That they could touch him, hold him... but for just a few minutes. Great scene!!
