Another great chapter. I am worried about Clark though he is rushing into things I'm afraid he is going to get hurt. On the other hand he has been alone for so long so I can understand. I know he will be okay eventually. I can't wait to see what happens next. Hey are any of Lex's relatives around still? Or even the real lex? is he still an enemy? I can so see him jump on the get rid of the aliens bandwagon!
I may need to explain a few things. Clark has changed; he's different now. Lois's death has set up walls around his heart. But even the hardest of hearts can feel love again and that's what I wanted to show.
His friends will worry about him, of course, and for good reason. Jane has layers and her issues will come to light later. She is a good person, but she still has a lot to learn about trust.
Lex or his descendants will not be in this story. I just finished an evil Lex story, but there are villains. Stay tuned for that!
Aw, like I said on the spoiler post, I can totally understand their concern. He's their friend and they're looking out for him.
I can understand Jane's reaction too though I hope when she thinks a bit she'll be okay with it. For a guy like him it's understandable he can't just trust someone immediately because they're nice to him. Even being a Lane descendant doesn't mean she's automatically good. People are people, some are good some are bad, no matter who great-grandma was :P But thankfully I think she is one of the good ones, and Clark clearly agrees :P
Interested with the planes too... Looking forward to where this all leads.

If you haven't figured it out yet, after Jane's reaction to the background check, she is hiding something. Nothing bad, necessarily, but it will depend on how you look at it. *a little teaser there* Although we have talked about this off-line!! You may remember.

And I did remember what we talked about (is that what she's afraid he found out?!) but I was wondering if it would come up in a background check like they did :P And I've actually been waiting for that to come up, I'm looking forward to it but I'm patient :P
Yeah, she's not ready to trust him, but Clark seems to be open to anything she has to say, but she's just not ready to tell him. And yes it is what we talked about.
That was my jibe at computers! They don't know everything! It won't be long now until everything will be out into the open, but you said you were patient!! *lol*
