So I'm reading "Twilight" upon the insistence of my friend (she literally put her copy into my hands and told me to read even after I already said no), and if you take it for the self-serving adolescent girl type of blather, it really isn't that bad. [grin] Might I suggest Growing Up Cullen? I absolutely hate the Twilight Saga, but these make me glad it exists.

I totally second Growing Up Cullen. As one who has gone through all four tomes of torture, it's worth the existence! (Actually, all the ones A posted on her entry a few days ago are worth the read).

Sounds like you feel exactly how I feel about those books. I never really understood why Bella loves Edward sooooooooo fucking much, but I accepted it as adolescent romance silliness whatever. Until the second book when the author decided it would be ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT to remove Edward from the picture and develop Bella's relationship with Jacob. ::facepalm::

Sorry, maybe that was a spoiler. When you come visit, you can hit me in the head.

By the way, things are good, just been busy busy (Mom was here for the weekend.) But I'm settling into a routine and all that stuff. Hugs, love and sweeties.
