Damn! This was tougher than I thought. Believe all the hype. Gravity is awesome and beautiful and heart-pounding and heartbreaking and nerve-wracking and glorious and just go see it already. I sat absolutely drained in stunned silence with tears in my eyes when the credits rolled. It is a masterpiece and not only one of my favourites of the year but maybe on my list of favourites ever.

I begin tucking him into bed and he tells me, “Daddy, check for monsters under my bed.” I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, under the bed, staring back at me quivering and whispering, “Daddy, there’s somebody on my bed.”
