About the life energy when the robot transformed into human. I don't really remember the story. Gumiho is the nine tailed fox. She wants to be human and was manipulated by a guy. That guy said if she put her life bead in a human for 100 days, she will be human when she takes the life bead back. But he didn't told her that the human will die when she do so. So, gumiho puts the life bead in the hero.
