35 years is impressive - I thought I was doing well with 19 years together and 15 married (and I still fancy him!).

Wow - i just came over to your journal to see when your birthday is and was browsing your entries. This is really interesting. Wow - you have your own motorcycle and you go backpacking alone. You are certainly intrepid. I like that. I guess the being married to the same man for 35 years could also qualify as intrepid. I've been married to my husband for 25 years. I would probably be a menace on a motorcycle - though I think it's terribly cool that you ride one. I can no longer go hiking and camping because of my back - but I used to love doing that. Anyway - just wanted to comment on this!
