I'm so fed up with how people perceive programmers. If I try to do something fast and simple so you can understand it, I'm "not that smart"... If I do things slow and so complicated that even I can't understand it, I'm "brilliant, but stuck-up, and anal." If it's slow and simple, I'm called stupid and lazy. So fast and complicated is my only

Arse. I think it's always the way with things regular folks don't understand. A bit like the white coat syndrome yanno?
