Yeah, I actually did read your story but my input is useless. I don't read a lot of fiction and I don't generally enjoy what I do read. Your linguistic skills are noticeable. As far as the Ponch thing goes, I don't really understand why your mother thinks you should move out there. I mean, as far as I can tell the only benefit would be escaping your dad. I dunno, maybe I'm off on this one, but that seems like a strange change of location for convenience.
Well, I think most of her reasoning is selfish. But I think she means after I spend this and the next semester at MoCo, transferring to SELU or whatever it is, some school in Hammond and just living with her. Instead of going to SFA or UT or something else. Plus Duane wants to give me his old car, but he is afraid of it breaking down over here if he does, and him not being able to fix it. Eh, who knows. I'm okay where I am right now, anyway.
