After a couple grueling sessions of bullshit, I finished my two papers. My English paper, as it turns out, is actually pretty good I think. On Faulkner's "Barn Burning". Last night there was a massive brownout, supposedly spanning 7 or more Texas counties, starting with Montgomery and moving its way up to Trinity I've heard. I find the censoring of sarcastic uses of 'offensive' words to be utterly retarded. I noticed that at least on one radio station, they finally censored Green Day's "Holiday", in the 'representative from California' section where he says 'kill all the fags who don't agree'. Lame ( Read more... )
