how can you say its been too long?

i hate this, i hate all of it. there's just no use trying to live like this. we've got to get better. not just for others, but for ourselves. there's got to be a way to dig ourselves out of the hole we've dug. how can it be only 6 feet deep? im 5'10" and there's more than a foot over my head. its dark and cold, lonely and wet, nothing is visible,
