Ok, I have been seriously remiss about posting for far too long. I'd like to think that's going to change, but not likely. Let's see... updates.. Hmmm

This is a rough guestimate: A full/queen comforter is usually 86" X 86" So... if you multiply 86x86 you get 7396. The pattern I listed is 52x62 which is 3224. The difference being 4172. If you take 2848 yards and divide it by 3224" you get .88 something, then mulitply that by 4172" and you get 3686 yards. So I'd need a total of 6534 yards.
If those aren't the dimensions you want, you can use the same "formula" to figure out the yardage you need.
Does that look right to you? (I don't trust vicodin girl's math!)
How did I know I would click the comments and see he had already gotten to you. Luckily, he has promised to buy me yarn, and buying yarn for this project to send you makes that more of a reality for me. I am a little sad that you could crank out a blanket for him faster than I can because I've promised him one, but all in due time. :P
I hope you have a fast recovery to your surgery and that you feel better afterward. (I have to add this in here as I have found it is possible to feel worse after surgery)
I'm ALWAYS home and have my phone nearby so if you ever want to call while you are waylayed, please do.
i have a girlfriend with RSI mitrian who spins and dyes yarns and you two should find a way to do an exchange. That would be awesome.
I don't know enough about yarn or the pattern you've chosen to know if I want one... but if you don't have a third person accepting the offer, I would love a blanket.
