muse_manifesto 09. Who is the most annoying person on the planet?
There wasn’t just one annoying person on this whole planet. There were tons of annoying people around there. Manticore isn’t just one person but it is the most annoying place on the planet. But if she had to name just one person and one alone… then it’d have to be Donald Lydecker. Even if most people would probably think she’d mean Alec.
That man had a part in ruining the lives of the X5 series. The one who had trained them to be the way that they were… the perfect soldier. The one that had her sister killed. The one who nearly came onto her a lot simply because of her DNA. If only because her DNA had a lot to do with the man’s wife. It didn’t really matter anymore though. He may have been the most annoying person but he still had helped out in her screwed up life.
If things had to be done all over again she’d rather have the most annoying person on the planet helping her. Or the other X5s that she knew and trusted with her life.
