i just realized that i am a lot like john cusack's character in high fidelity. i've been sitting here for an hour and a half attempting to make the perfect playlists: metro, night, bedroom, drive. and it's driving me insane. i categorize everything in little lists for momentary filing and i end up trashing it all because it doesn't FLOW RIGHT. a ( Read more... )

Ahh the name dropping makes me really curious now (I cheer inside when I recognise someone) how do you go about finding new artists? What's Rachel Yamagata like?

I know what you mean about playlists... if I had an iPod many man-hours would go down the drain making playlists too

there are a lot of sites that have links to fresh indie sounds, trip hop, chillout etc.. and whenever i hear something at a lounge or club i make sure i get the title and artist by the end of the night

rachel yamagata is the epitome of romantic comedy with a dramatic edge type of music. i'll put up my favorite of hers in a playlist for you guys <3
