Things People Might Know
I've changed my journal theme! I got sick of the last one.
While talking to a friend, recently, we started on about random things most people don't know about us. I feel like posting a few of them, because I can.
Things people might know, but probably don't care about
1) Despite being a huge geek/nerd, I have actually had 5 official girlfriends. Angel, Lindsay, Elspeth, Ryn, and Rae.
2) Despite that my hair is 2 feet something long now, it used to be short. In fact, I was bald once. For Halloween my junior year in high school, I went as Uncle Fester from the Addams Family, tweed coat and all. I even had one of those prop light-bulbs that light up when you bit them.
3) I wore all black, before it was 'goth' in elementary school, tie-dye in middle school before it became popular again, and button down/polo shirts in high school before they became popular. Who knew I was a trend setter?
4) Coincidences are not so coincidental for me. This applies to most of my family, actually. There are so many things that happen around us 'by random chance' that there is no way it's random. Once or twice is coincidence, but after a while, it's a pattern...
5) I am apparently the nexus of Erie County. I mean that you can connect nearly anyone around where I live to anyone else, and I'll be involved somehow. I'm the Kevin Bacon of Erie County's 6 degrees of separation.
6) I own two capes, a hat with an Ostridge feather in it, a fantasy-katana, a boakin (wooden katana), and dress with all of these often. The worst part... I've never been to a con of any sort. Yet.
