Most ATMs now will suck the card back in and report it missing if it isn't taken in a small amount of time. You would have to call the bank to find out if that happened.

My scooter doesn't go over 40 mph. Now, I recognize that, from a historical perspective, that's VERY, VERY fast. I mean, compared to a horse-drawn wagon, I'm a frickin' rocket ship. But, no, no x-country trips on Scooty Blue.

Additionally, since my internship is on a volunteer basis, I have almost NO $$, so a trip on one of those new-fangled flying-machines is also out of the question.

Still...it's in my mind that I'd like to make a trip out to NYC for sheer pleasure one of these days soon, since I now have a gaggle of people there that I'd like to see.
