Long time no post

And I'll probably go right back to that after this, just checking in to let people know I'm alive. I finally got too busy with real life to be on Livejournal all that much, which is as it should be...though frankly it's partly just that I don't feel like it, alas. I do miss my friends though, think about you and pray for you every day. I'm sorry ( Read more... )

have fun riding! it's definitely a mood booster, i agree. and the physical exertion is *good*. i like being sore after a ride. it hurts, but it also feels good, if that makes any sense. i always am relaxed, even if tired, after a long ride.

It makes perfect sense and it's very true! That's how I always felt about it the first few years I was riding, but after a while it got to be just one more load of stress I wasn't quite able to handle. I'm so glad it's gone back to the old way again!

Ah, I missed you! *huggle* Very good to know that you're still alive and keeping busy! Ah, the wonderful after-riding soreness... the riding is so great, but the day after is not. It's good that you're motivated though, and that the horse was good. There's something powerful about knowing you're good with a horse other people can't ride... I always thought so, anyway. XD

I'm so happy you're feeling good, too. ^________^

*huggles back* I missed you too! Yeah, the day after is a killer sometimes. It's totally worth it though! The kind of bond I have with T is special in any case, but it definitely adds to it that others don't quite get that...though he's still one of the friendliest horses I've ever met, clingy even. *laughs*

I hope everything's going well with you too. =^.^=

Storm chasing trip? That sounds both interesting and scary. What did they see?

I've only skimmed it since I haven't been around, but it looks like Jim kept a pretty good account of their doings, which would be pretty hard to recount in a comment. This is the first entry from on the trip, and I think I'll just let you use the next entry button instead of posting all the links 'cause there's quite a few.

The short-short version: Greenburg tornado. And the rest of the trip was pretty neat too.
