I hope everyone’s enjoying cooler weather than we are here in Ohio. It’s 90 degrees right now and it’s supposed to get to 94 today and 95 tomorrow. Whew! Good thing the new air conditioner is working, it’s a beautiful 72 in the house! That was a worthwhile investment. It was nice at church today, too. We live in the lower foothills of the Sierras and have had a string of days in the low 100's. Yesterday was only 96° with about the same predicted for today. Fortunately, it is usually not humid so the heat is bearable. We also run the Air Conditioner in the late afternoon and early evening if it gets above 82° in the house.

Thanks for reviewing the latest chapter of Ginny's First Year. Both my Beta and I give it another read before it goes up but we're still working on my rather formal language. I'm in the middle of writing the first draft of the Second Year, so I need to shift gears to go back more than a year to bring the chapter about to be posted in final form.

Hi! I guess 100 degrees isn't too bad when there's no humidity. This morning when I got up it was only in the mid-60s but with 88% humidity, that's uncomfortable!

I enjoyed your last chapter. It was definately less formal, although I have to admit that Molly and Arthur don't really sound unusual when they speak like that.
