1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
had wisdom teeth pulled. got married. built a screened-in porch. sold MY OWN art at a ren faire.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
new years resolutions are like failure-time-bombs. so no.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
no.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
no, thank sacred things.
5. What countries did you visit?
just hung around the USA... not even anywhere really different, went to PA for Pennsic.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
more financial security. less hours of retail slavery.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
hah... december 19 i got married. and November 19 i had my wisdom teeth out the same day my uncle nearly lost his arm in a circular-saw accident.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
finally made the commitment. also, had a record number of art shows!
9. What was your biggest failure?
spent the last three months almost completely without producing art. i feel it like pain.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
the usual sinus infections and such and the wisdom teeth thing was like the worst experience of my life medically... i have a bad reaction to anesthesia!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Music! new tires! um... maybe home repairs.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Dion was my super-hero when i was sick with the wisdom teeth fiasco, he was truly wonderful and selfless. . . my friend Erika gave me some great opportunities and a lot of support. as did Deanna, who kept me sane!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
ugh. mostly random strangers. people i personally know rarely appal me and if they do they hear about it tuite-suite.
14. Where did most of your money go?
house, vehicle, cat-care, food.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Pennsic! Wedding! Xmas! Halloween Party!!

i. happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? Same, almost exactly.
iii. richer or poorer? not richer, exactly, but closer to "not drowning"!
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Writing, actual good art, traveling and working. seeing people i miss.. keeping in touch.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
getting really worked up over assholes of the world.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
spent it with family, in-laws and my own.

quietly hung out with friends and my cousin
22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
sometimes i think i fall in love every day with the same silly guy.

i don't remember... but they were all with the same dude!
24. What was your favorite TV program?
Dexter! Heroes (though i have only seen the first season).
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
i have changed my opinions on a few people, mainly coworkers. but i don't HATE anyone anymore, it's a waste of time. i get furious and even enraged with some people, but to say i hate them implies a lot more focus and energy over more time.
26. What was the best book you read?
hm. i read the entire Marvel "Civil War" series, which, while i didn't like the idea of my fav universe being so radically altered, i thought was well done.

28. What did you want and get?
i know i keep saying it like a ninny, but i got married!
29. What did you want that you didn't get?
lots of money!... i mean i did get a lot of money as gifts from family, but i could really use a lot more. i guess i really wanted to establish my artistic career and i haven't got that.... yet.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
it's been a sad year for films... and i can't remember much before the last couple months. maybe Stardust?
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 27 and i went out with Deanna and Dion, i think.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
losing 60lbs. selling another painting for more than $100.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
sigh... mainly apathetic, but with a little punk-noir thrown in, interrupted by a period of historical fantasy.
34. What kept you sane?
my friends, my internet addiction. my mom.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
fancy? uhg. i can't really stand celebrity anything. sorry.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
religious doctrine being applied to political agendas. makes me so mad. . .
37. Who did you miss?
:( mainly Laurie, Fionna, and Ana. also Eve, i miss eve a lot lately. and many others but those are my top four.

Leslie, though i might have really met her late last year, i don't recall. and Randy, though ditto.
