Conleth: Betrayal

July 4th, Hearthglen, Lordaeron

I thought, once, that nothing the undead did could surprise me anymore. Lately, though, I'd been trying to believe my comrades' insistence that some of the undead could be trusted. Father Warreth was our healer, charged with the lives of all of my men. It took a great deal of restraint to allow him that role. I ( Read more... )

Heh, I had been admittedly curious if that business would ever come to Light (see what I did there?)

It's interesting to see how Conleth has developed, too.

I've cleaned up his character a bit since the days when I first arrived on the server. He needed it. >_>

And yep, Warreth got sloppy and is now in Crusade custody while they decide what to do with him. He will probably die for everything he's done.

Yep, as would be expected. It sounds like he's pretty much confessed to it all- not much room for doubt or hesitation there.

To be fair, Conleth glosses over the fact that his method of "questioning" is just slightly uncomfortable for the undead on the receiving end of it.

hah! I vaguely remember Warreth being a traitor inside the Crusade. Neat to see how this is playing out.

Also: Conleth/Zealotry OTP.

Thank you, thank you. :)

Yep, he couldn't hide it forever. It was inevitable that he'd slip up just a little and get caught. And man, when he got caught...

Had be been caught a couple months ago, Conleth's attention would have been on the Brotherhood of the Light and their stuff in the Plaguelands and he'd have told Ramilen to deal with it (and Ramilen is more more likely to leave Warreth alive somewhere to be lectured at till he changes his tune). Alas, he was caught while Conleth's group was on leave, so he had the captain's undivided attention.

Conleth, THE original zealot of that Argent Crusade unit. Anleron is only the padawan. :P

THE ANGRY MEN OF THE BROTHERHOOD. XD

Poor Ramilien; it's hard to be the reasonable one. I'd drink too.

Very cool. I am now admittedly curious how a meeting with Kazril would go. I imagine not well.

Proooobably not. :P It really depends on Conleth's mood and how many of his superiors are scowling at him.

This was such a great read. I love your Crusaders and Conleth is such an interesting guy. :3 I remember the bit with Warreth and it's interesting to see how that turned out. I loved the whole dynamic with the Brotherhood.

Amg this makes me want to bring Tel back but gods I cannot write awesome zealot-types like you can. <3 <3
