I'm glad that the focus was on spending time with the girls and treating them like human beings rather than proselytizing. I could see the latter easily making them feel like they've committed sin by being in a situation that's beyond their control, but treating them like people is a wonderful witness.

I totally agree. Treating them like human beings is exactly the sort of thing Jesus did, and is what we as Christians should be doing. Condemnation helps no one.
