character relationships.
One of Anna's brothers, her former subordinate. The two have a rough history and used to be very close, but Anna choosing to fall pitted Castiel against her beliefs. After the two found one another again, he betrayed her trust several times over, but Anna killed Uriel for him and tried to convince him to rebel against God and his orders. Now that they've reconciled and reconnected since her arrival in the wood, Anna is determined to keep Castiel safe and on the right path. She's glad that he's so devoted to keeping Dean alive and happy. He's the individual that she's closest to.
Castiel
One of Anna's older brothers, and someone that she greatly respects, even if she does tend to mother him. She only wants what's best for him, and that leads to her bossing him around and taking control of situations. She appreciates his humor and is glad that he's safe and sound after running from Heaven and hiding out, and is glad that they're able to live together and get to know one another again. She doesn't approve of the way he talks about Dean and Sam, and is going to attempt to get him to mend things over with the Winchesters. He's the older one, but she's fiercely protective of him. He's the other individual that Anna is closest to.
Gabriel
Michael's potential vessel, and a hot piece of ass. Angelic celebrity that Anna pretty much adores because he's a big practicer of free will and saving the world. He's a strong personality that rivals Anna's own, and the two share a lot of similar traits and beliefs. They both have a shitload of daddy issues, and their desire to just feel something real led to some vanilla sex in the backseat of the Impala. She doesn't love Dean, but appreciates what the two of them can do for one another. She's protective of him, and wants to make sure that he succeeds. She just wishes that he didn't cry so often in secret, and that he'd talk about his time in Hell with someone. Keeping it bottled up forever will turn him into a serial killer with even more personality defects. In the end, though, she'd totally do him again. Maybe next time she won't focus so much on Castiel's handprint. Talk about awkward.
Dean Winchester
Abomination, Lucifer's vessel and demon blood addict. Weak willed and easily lured into sin by a demon temptress. He's Dean's brother, though, so Anna feels obligated to make sure he doesn't do stupid things. He helped her out when she needed it, so she's returning the favor by sponsoring Dean's decision to lock the kid up for detox. Despite her wariness for who Sam could become, she does honestly want to help him, and will try to protect him. Mostly out of loyalty to Dean, but also because it's the right thing to do. That, and she wants him to stop crying more than Dean. For being so masculine, he cries a lot.
Sam Winchester
Demon, therefore Ruby is expendable. But Ruby helped Anna out and even was tortured by Alastair, so Anna feels some sympathy for Ruby. She does not approve of the fact that Ruby's tempted Sam into getting hooked on demon blood, and if Ruby did anything to harm Dean or Sam, Anna wouldn't hesitate to kill her. But as long as Ruby's playing nice, Anna doesn't see a need to be outwardly racist like a certain Winchester brother is.
Ruby
A nice guy that Anna met in the library. She respects the fact that he's working to improve things for everyone, and not just himself. She views him as someone she can go to and talk, and someone that understands that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. She's planning on seeking him out to speak again.
