While we're discussing songs, it occurs to me that the lyrics to "Such Great Heights" are more like actual poetry than the banal platitudes which serve most songs ( Read more... )

I really am of the opinion that that vehicle is cursed. Get rid of it. Now. God knows what it will do next.

I like that song-- when I hear it, I have fond memories of freshman year at Whitman, doing my first radio show at 7am on Sunday morning.

Which version do you like better, the Postal Service or Iron and Wine?

Postal Service. Iron and Wine is nice, but it can get a little tedious.

I agree. Sometimes I think the Postal Service version is too fast, but I always think the Iron and Wine version is too slow.

I'm sorry! I promise I wasn't trying to pass a dud/lemon on to you! I should have warned you about the key in the driver's side door; it's snapped off on me probably 4 times in the last few years. I think it happens when you don't push the key in all the way before turning it to unlock the door. If I were you, I would have a couple of extra spare keys made, and maybe keep one in the ash tray.
