Went to audition for Richard III. The director seems to love me. Tells me I'm "too young" to play Lady Anne... um, okay... you want to cast her as middle aged, fine, I get that. And where, might I ask, is Richard III taking place? Because from your story, I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts that it's those fucks at the Bartell. (Sorry if any fucks from the Bartell are reading this... but you are. You're fucks. The only time I've had a more painfully elitist audition was at Broom Street.)

Tells me to wait until 8 to find out if he wants someone else. I wait til 8:30, when someone tells me it'll be closer to 9. 9:15rolls around

You need to decide here and now." I say, "Alright, then, I choose this show." TO WHICH he gets a little wierd: "Oh, NOOOOO. I'm not offering it anymore.

"And you'll get to wear so many pretty clothes."

And any/all of these things ARE professional? I'd say it's a little disgusting. Would you really want to work for someone like that anyway? Your talents are better spent. Fuck 'em, is what I say.

Agree with Laurie's comment above about the professionalism.

Good job handling it though! I'm sure that there are better opportunities out there. Would you really want to have spent so much time and effort for someone like that?
