I'm basically totally in cahoots with you about the Nobel. It's a pleasant surprise, like if you get some money back from the college that you didn't expect. I'm happy he won, which has already gotten me some flack from a Brit on Twitter (and she knows about how the GOP is ferocious in response to anything Obama does because...?).

Your theater class sounds awful! I'd be in pain listening to those folks slay monologues.

As for Best Buy, you'll do fine. People will help you learn about how to deal, and you'll also learn shit by doing because sometimes there's no way to absorb lists of how to do things. But if it's too stressful, if it's just so overwhelming, I'm sure your managers will understand if you say, like, "hey, I need to step back a bit" or something. Either way, I support you! And Best Buy is winsome! King Rahm supports you too!

i just read the thread on corynn's post. i would have loved to comment but i held my tongue. how ridiculous, though! i agree with you on the whole thing, and i think what you said on corynn's link was wonderful. thank you for being smart, unlike some people.
