There is a pigeon in my backyard and I think its wing is either broken or just injured. I'd bring it inside but the pigeons around here carry giardia which can be passed to my other pets and even humans. I just feel bad leaving him out there :(

Contact animal control and ask if they have any suggestions. Some places will rescue anything!

I will try that thanks. I just fear that they won't do anything because the pigeons around here are considered the rats of las vegas... they are just considered a pest to most people :(

Just say it's an injured bird, you aren't sure what type. And with your kids and pets you can't get out there to look.
