Reading on FB that it had been confirmed and she went alone to hear the results were not what I wanted or wanted for her but in the end her feelings are the only one that matters. I guess having cancer gives you a pass to disregard anyone else's feelings and gives you permission to say, do, and hurt people who love & care about you because after all it's only about the person with the diagnoses. The Dr's office called me on Tues afternoon to say that some of my results were in & my Dr wanted to discuss it with me the next morning. I just wanted to know what is going on inside my body. I didn't want to reschedule & have to wait until you returned from your vacation. AND I didn't want to inconvenience you by asking you to cut your vacation short just to sit beside me at the Dr. My Mama wanted to go with me but it's so hard for her to deal with cancer stuff.
