too many expenses...so little cash!!

this sucks. when i first started serving at mimi's as a waitress i was stoked because i figured that all that extra cash would go half for more entertainment..fun stuff for me and the other half would be saved for college expenses. but once i start making more money expenses start to appear that didn't seem to be a possibility before. first my car

I know how you feel, completely. When we had our parents paying for everything for us and education was free, we could just spend our money on concert tickets and fast food. I don't think anybody really realizes the whole "starving college student" thing until they are poor college kids. I don't really even go out on weekends anymore...Saturday we all stayed in and watched "The Little Mermaid" in the basement...hey, it's free! So I have a similar idea about what you're going through. Well, at UCSD, we can be young and broke together!

Yah, I just spent a little over 200 dollars on just my Italian books. I need a job. I feel bad asking my parents to cover so much of these expenses.

thanks for the encouragement..i need it right now. most people dont have to deal with these problems until later in life so i figure i am ahead in the game..i already know basically how to deal with these issues

i feel you. my parents don't pay for much at all either. all my clothes, excess food, fun, and some bills are paid for by moi. College expenses are taken care of this year by scholarships and grant money... but next year will be very different
