Parker wedding pictures

alrighty...here they are. sorry about the fuzzy and the dark parts. I had to catch what I could in between the real photographer - he kept getting in my way. guess that meant I had some good shots. lol.

Paul and Kate Parker

Kate, Paul, flowergirls and bridesmaids: Denae, Jessie, Brandy, Jessica (Kate's cousin)

hahaha. ok now they're legal

bridal party. groomsmen: JP, Kevin, Luke and Josh

best man toast. dude JP did such an awesome job!!! in fact, the conversation back at my table went kinda like this:
Jesse: you have a strange brother
me: I have an awesome brother.
and then there was the guy who was standing next to me while they were taking pictures. JP was cracking jokes, as usual, and I guess he didn't realize who he was talking to
guy: *watching JP* haha. you have to ask yourself is this guy for real? and then realize that yeah he pretty much is.
me: yup....he's like that at home too

Kate and Paul's first dance

father/daughter dance: Kate and Scott

father/daughter dance: Steve and Jessie

father/daughter dance: Kevin and Brooke

mother/son dance: Paul and Diane

mother/son dance: JP and Tracy

mother/son dance: Luke and his aunt Sherry. he came over to the table and totally asked her to dance...it was one of the sweetest things I've ever seen

Kate and Pat got to have a dance too

couples dance: two generations of Parkers

couples dance: Josh and Shallie

uh huh! yeah...would you believe my dad got out there too?!?

more couples dancing. Joe and Tara. dude...I really need a Mulder. LOL! (anybody who's ever seen the X-files ep "Post-modern Prometheus" knows what I mean)

both JPs. and NO they didn't dance together :-P heh.

and what were the single boys doing during all this dancing? could they be cruising for some single ladies?

just some old school dancing from the boys. will they ever grow up?

and some more dancing

I'll give you ONE guess which dance this is. and no it's not the chicken dance.

cutting the cake. sorry I didn't get one of them actually eating it (they were nice about it anyways). I tried but ended up with some ladies elbow shoved in the lense instead

the garter hunt. Luke caught it. didn't he catch the last one too? this is getting a wee bit disturbing. LOL!

me and Jessie

me and Diane

the Parkers and the Pratts. from birth through marriage and beyond...I don't think you can separate us if you tried

it really was a pretty wedding. and kudos to Lora for running sound!! that was just typical sound system crap....Steve got 2 words out and the mic went on the fritz. it just popped and went static-y. turns out it was the connection on the lavalier itself. but Lora was awesome and just went with the flow.

it was kinda emotional too. I've known Paul since we were born so it's like my brother is getting married - he's all grown up (despite the fact that he's been taller than me for most of our lives...lol). but of course in a way...he'll never really grow up. boys never do. LOL! I was really thankful I got to be there today. sure there was a moment or two where punching somebody was never outside the realm of possibility, but would it be a wedding without the angst? and managing to respond with a few zingers made up for not punching anybody.

obviously with everything health-wise so up in the air, I was never 100% sure I'd make it. I'm really happy I did!!!
