hi feminists. I feel like lj is going through a bit of a revival these days, those of us who have stayed here are reconnecting and I certainly feel like with a bit of re-friending, things seem refreshed, if not new. that said, I'm sad that we don't have an active feminist community anymore. I'd also add to most important issues intersectionality, racial equality, and class issues. The intersection of race, gender, and class has become something really important to me.

One topic I think could be interesting is about how women can't have it both ways and get criticized either way, even from some feminists. Like, if a woman fits the stereotypes, she is criticized because being feminine is looked down on. But if she doesn't, she is also criticized for trying to be like a man.

Hey there! I love all your categories! I also think that a feminist community should be a place in which women feel empowered and supported. 'Cause honestly, if she's not, she's with the wrong feminist community, am I right? ;) Great poll!
