So I've reacent;y gotten into feminism and have been reading several blogs about how privelige effects us now and so on but I've been running into a slight problem that I'm hoping everyone her can help me with. I live in Australia and pretty much everything I read is based in the USA or Northern America and I can't help but feel disconnected.

Over the years I've been on this and other feminist communities while living in UK, Netherlands and now Egypt. It got to the point where it became predictable how often I was calling people out on US-centrism...

I know there was someone on the LJ community 'feminist' who was posting now and then about Australia-specific issues, and they have a good tagging system. So you could join there and hunt through tags & commenters?

http://hoydenabouttown.com/ might help? It's not a blog only about feminism, but it deals very prominently with feminist issues. It's by women and based in Australia. They have a 'gender& feminism' tag and there seems to be a Down Under Feminists blog carnival which might help you find more useful sites.
