Well, I don't know if there's much more that needs to be said in this community, since the problem is not getting rid of feminism, but educating men and taking the politicians out of power who are destroying our legal system. There's a man in the local university computer club who wears skirts often. He's not transgender that I know of, and I don ( Read more... )

IAWTC

It's rather distressful on seeing a man be berated by a female and I am hoping that one day they'll stand up against the female and just walk away from them but I guess with today's legal standings..the female will always lash out against them in some form or fashion. =/

I think the men should get at the legal system and have them take away the rights of a female being able to say whatever the hell she wants while the men don't get a chance to say a damn thing on it.

Man I probably seem weird to everyone here since I am a female saying this but this is just what I think. I pretty much get annoyed at this whenever a female gets off scot-free while the man suffers..I don't think that's fair at all. =/ Oh well.

Sorry for the long entry but I felt like it needed to be said as well as agreeing with you on this whole thing like I stated above.

One thing I wish feminists would realize is that it behooves females to act responsibly and have power on their own merits (property ownership namely, but these days a steady source of income for years to come in a stable career will suffice), otherwise the men in power will get tired of this nonsense and easily set feminism back literally two hundred years.

Women like my mom hate feminists for their irresponsible attitudes towards, well, everything. One isn't born being a misogynist or a misandrist; it's disheartening when the women's movement is responsible for one's misogyny.

I doubt they would realize that..considering how delusional they are with their thoughts on being the "victim".

It'd be nice if someone inside of the group would rise up against the rest and reform it in general so that it can be something respectable again rather than them trashing men all the time.

I wish my mother was like that but unfortunately she is an idiot who thinks that it's okay for women to bash men..sometimes I think I am adopted. =/

Methinks this person is lost. O_o I am just referring to this "anonymous" person anyway.

Sounds like a dating advertisement which sounds strange since the poster is already taken anyway.

You should get drunk more often. "Beer is proof that god loves us and wants us to be happy."

I used to believe in JHVH, but I'm a recent convert of the flying spaghetti monster. Until JHVH gives me a revelation otherwise, I cannot allow a gay man to follow him. JHVH will destroy all gay men with fire and brimstone like Sodom and Gamorrah.

Now, if you've got some kind of political power, why not poke your head in the maleequality community?

This is by far the weirdest thing I have read in a long while. Me being a feminist is something that I pride myself on and I don't really understand where you are meeting these men bashing, victims that you are calling feminist (or they are calling themselves). I am a strong independent woman who believes that society and specifically the media has made the feminist movement out to be full of men hating, super bitch, whining women. I would seriously disagree and would not mind an open discussion about what being a feminist means to me vs. what it means to both of you. I hope that I have not rambled on and on here but rather given people something to think about.
Peace
Ps. If this was all a joke or something then I apologize for coming off so serious.

Well, first off: If you mean "is this LJ community a joke?" then the answer is "most likely, yes." (I know, I fell for the troll, too.) Now, I wasn't joking when I posted that rant, though.

It's been a while, so I had to re-read my rant. I think you ought to, as well. That rant isn't about feminism -- it's about sexual power. A discussion about feminism with me would be a lost cause. Basically, you're not going to turn me into a pussy-slave without giving me pussy. As they say in /b/, "Tits or GTFO."

Some of the man-bashing victims I meet call themselves feminists, some don't. (Feminism is a moving target and a straw-man all in one.) Some are christian, pagan, or atheist. People see and hear lots of things in the media, but I don't watch TV, so your mileage may vary. (I grab my definition of feminism from my misandrist schooling.) It seems that the one trait they all have in common is that they view men as wallets ( ... )
