canine stroke

Last night between 6 and 8:30 Butchy had a stroke. Her body has already started to heal itself, but she walks crooked and won't eat. The vet called this canine vestibular disease, the equivalent of people's mini-strokes/TIA (trans ischemic attacks). Thanks. This morning we had a 3-block slow walk with lots of time for sniffing. She seemed to enjoy that and is definitely alert.

Thanks. She is drinking, showing clear decision-making (wanting to go out), and walking around more to check up on me.

Thanks. I am fretting some but also doing other things. She was enthusiastic about walking today. Still not eating, so I'll call about that tomorrow.
