The atmosphere, Victoria's is completely different from Chilliwack, and Vancouver for that matter. There's so much more diversity, and damnit the transit system makes it so that not having a liscence doesn't matter. There's more of everything, and I feel safer walking in downtown Victoria at midnight than I do in Chilliwack- probably because there's more people about?
If you like Chilliwack then great, this town has good things too and it is expanding. It's just that after living in a bigger city, living here is a bit stifling.
People always need something to groan about right? So why not pick on the place that made you bored for a few years...
I think it is pretty silly people bash Chilliwack aswell, and am constantly backing it up in the workplace and with friends who don't understand IT ISN'T A TERRIBLE PLACE TO BE.
But we know how people love to complain :)
I may sound like a hypocrit for saying all that and not living in Chilliwack but there are sound reasons. It is a great place to be so don't you worry a bit :)
I wasn't bashing Chilliwack so much as I was bashing Hope. Chilliwack takes it though because it's so close.
Two sex stores? Thought we only had the one... and a goth store. My god, what did Jeff say... emall or... some combination of mall and emo. You won't get an IKEA, Winnipeg doesn't even have an IKEA, I think you need to have a million people within city limits or something silly like that. bastards.
