i was talking with my supervisor in the national office today and he said they are sending organizers to NYC. maybe i'll get to go!

i'm afraid i am going to end up in the middle of nowhere.

but could i be happy in OHIO? what are cincinnati and columbus like? i am so stoked about being a union organizer. i just hope it is in a location that i can be happy at. i have one more phonecall on wed. with the woman who places all the OI interns. wish me luck.

hm, i dunno, dude. like, ohio would be a good place to learn how to be a bad-ass organizer -- there are lots of good folks here. but...yeah. i don't know anything about cincinnati, but columbus is passable, at least for a time, y'know?

i mean, and also, as an organizer, you'd be on the road a lot anyway. :)

(but of course you should pick a location that would make you happy. where are some of the possibilities?)

i have been talking with people a lot about OH and there seems to be a nod of approval for cincinnati. i have an interview for tomorrow afternoon with the woman who places all the organizers. i don't know if i will find out what's available tomorrow or find out in a couple of weeks where i will be. i will keep everyone updated.
