Passing in the Shower While Lowes Workers Works

Tomorrow some workers from Lowes are going to install a new heating/air conditioning system in our attic and I'm concerned about passing while getting into the shower(the access to the attic is between my room and the bathroom). I recycle cans for money and I can't wait until very late to shower let alone until the next day because I would be ( Read more... )

That sucks! Could you walk to the bathroom with your clothes on, get undressed in the bathroom and then shower and dry yourself off while in the bathroom and put your clothes back on (you can change back into something else when you get back to your room if your clothes get wet or are smelly)? That's what I do when I'm staying at someone else's house. It's kind of awkward but I don't think it's particularly unusual for someone to not want to walk around in a towel in front of strangers.

If you have two towels at your disposal, I would suggest that you wear a shirt (the dirty one; if you have anything on under it, bra/binder/undershirt/etc., you might want to leave that behind in your room just so as to not have to deal with it) and wrap a towel around your waist, bring the other one to dry yourself off with. Use the one you wrapped around your waist to bundle up the dirty shirt and carry it back to your room/wherever your dirty laundry goes when you're done showering.

You can also do this with just one towel, but I'm assuming your shirt (and possibly also the towel you wrap yourself with) will be dirty enough that you won't want to handle it much after you're clean. Although you could always bring it back and then just wash your hands again.
