i can store mp3s on my mobile, i just need to buy a bigger memory card. i'm quite excited by the prospect seeing as i can't afford a whole new music player. mind you, can't afford the memory card either at the moment...

Very possibly, but Lacan established that desire is a search for wholeness that can never be fulfilled. I think the geek user might become tired of the phone and iPod before any outdating takes place.

By then, they will already have invented the iPod ring, where you can listen to use song repeatedly and forever, and the iPod credit card, where you can share selected tunes with your favorite cashier...
