I never liked Icon too much. Now I like it even less. Yehuda's booth is going to be uncomfortably located at Eshkol Pais and I, for one am not happy. Not happy about the inferior location and not happy about the way things were decided

On the plus side, isn't the Eshkol venue an inside one?

Yehuda & I have talked extensively about how to change the Icon model from pay-per-program to pay per con (or even several events), like US cons. You're welcome to weigh in on the brainstorming.

Part of the problem is that there needs to be seats for the mundanes. I'm still working on it.

Hi Shear*waves* it's Opher.Just wanted to weight in and add that people have been looking for replacement to the Sinemateq and not finding them, or at least that's what Gills tells me.I *So* hope you'll find a replacement.these guys are greedy.
