So it's official- I too have the dreaded kissing disease. Haven't been doing much kissing lately though, so chances are I have not infected many others. Of course there has been a lot of beverage sharing going on

A metaphor for one of the queens

On my cold walk to the gym this evening, I took notice of the sky. The night is strange in these mountains, for it doesn't come gradually like in most places, but sweeps across the land in a dark cloud, covering everything from east to west. If you watch, you can see a definite line creep across the darkening sky dividing the evening from the cold, dark night. And tonight I could see the moon just about to be covered by the blanket of deep black, and i thought if i could just walk a little faster, the moon would move with me, and stay ahead of the cloud. And i knew that no matter how fast i walked, or even if i ran, the moon was going to be covered over with the cloud. Night was coming, and the light was soon to be extinguished. So I stopped and just watched helplessly as the moon grew fainter and fainter, taken over by this awful sea of black. And that was the end. Things would get cold, and dark, and night would have fallen. All would be black. But these are snow clouds, and in the emptiness of the night, in the dark cold, flakes

you know how i love metaphors! and that one is quite spectacular. i think that i understand it too, or at least i certainly have an interpretation. and i'm happy. plus i love it when people leave me comments!
Yay for future roomies sharing sickness’!!! Hehe we're a club, hopefully of only two :) And yes you WILL LISTEN to the nurse!! How else do you propose to leave the club? Which I think is the purpose for the whole club existing...
