we kinda talked about this shit the other night, but i'd have to say i believe that a spirit can haunt someone/thing. if they have unresolved issues from when they were alive, i think they have the ability to attempt to resolve them in spirit (by haunting, etc.) i'm a firm believer in karma, but i don't think that this has anything to do with that. i don't think you have anything to worry about with your situation; i just think you're having nightmares because of the feelings you hold regarding everything.
