So this weekend I found out that a couple that N and I know split up after being together for 4ish years and living together for one -- seemingly without warning. We had seen them a few weeks before, and everything seemed normal, so to hear this news has thrown me for a loop, and it's not even my relationship

Never know what happens behind closed doors, I suppose. I think it's hard when there are problems in a relationship like that with mutual friends, awkward. I'm so glad they both have your support.
