Favorite book, I will decide based on two characteristics: 1. if I could only have one book with me on a long, long camping trip, which would i choose? and 2. what book has influenced my self-definition most over the years? Based on these characteristics, it'd be Leaves of Grass, by Walt Whitman.

Favorite quote: "Be still when you have nothing to say. When genuine passion moves you, say what you have to say, and say it hot." That's D.H. Lawrence. I try to keep that in mind, as I am a person who likes to take up a lot of conversational space not really saying too much.
