Wow. I - wow. That's creepily brilliant and I am going to need to re-read this a lot of times, but - wow. Yeah. What a great job of melding the two universes.

This is a fascinating story. I'm not entirely sure I get it; the imagery is wonderful, very Lynchian and very dream-state, which I approve of and fully appreciate. I like the swirls of madness and strangeness, and I think the Serenity characterizations are in particular very good.

I just feel like I've missed a step somewhere, which is possibly the point of the story, the mystery of what's going on. Has she gone entirely mad? Is this a fantasy before dying? (I mean, my original thought was that what happens is that Laura dies, or they all die, because the Cylons go after her, but I'm not sure). So it's fascinating, I like it, I'm just not sure I'm sure what's going on. :)

Well, I wrote it so you wouldn't be entirely sure ('cause otherwise, where would be the fun?), but in my head, at least, not-Laura was the Cylons' 'Full Colours' - the trick up their sleeve. Not that I believe that the actual Laura Roslin is a Cylon, but I do think that it would be a coup de grace if the Cyclons manage to produce a replica.

(Which is all because I've only seen up until 2x09, of course, and have no idea what's happened in the second half of the season...)

Oh, that was amazing. You blended the two universes together wonderfully, and the mystery was stunning. And the end, with the cylons coming... I really love apoctalyptic AU, and this was a good one. Bravo!
