Summary: Wednesday and Amanda aren't all that different, deep down.
Wednesday Addams is twisted; sardonic and crazy. The windows in her dorm room are draped in heavy black curtains, beheaded dolls hang over the bed like a nightmarish baby mobile. Everything about her sharp cheekbones and carefully braided hair and old-fashioned clothes screams danger and death; red flags (and possibly a hellhound) follow her around.
Amanda Buckman, having come to learn Wednesday's danger firsthand, still manages to end up pinned between black satin bedsheets and her potential murderer. She knows she should flee while there's still a chance, perhaps even before one of the knives dangling precariously overhead falls and impales her, but she doesn't. Maybe she's been hypnotized, drugged, brainwashed - anything that could plausibly explain why she's here.
But, Amanda wants to be here. Wants thin lips pressed against her throat, teeth grazing her pulse point as if wanting to tear into it. Wants to feel the scratchy wool of Wednesday's dress beneath her fingers. Wants to be afraid and aroused and rebel against her parents' perfect plans for her future, the ones they drew out for her the day she was born.
Amanda wants to feel alive in a way she's never been allowed to before.
Unbeknownst to her, Wednesday thinks Amanda is a bit twisted, deep down.
