Harley’s pale, so sunblock during a Gotham heat wave is a must. Sure, she could choose not to sunbathe, but she stole this bikini fair and square, she’s determined to use it.
Ivy closes the bottle, satisfied that Harley’s back is covered in lotion, from the nape of her neck to the bottoms of her feet. Harley whimpers, already missing those wonderful hands massaging her skin, and it’s only natural to flip over on the sunlounger, stomach up and grinning cheekily.
“Do my front next!” she chirrups, ignoring Ivy’s unimpressed look.
“Do it yourself, Harley,” comes the curt reply. “You can reach just fine.”
“But I want you to do it, Red,” Harley whines, wobbling her bottom lip for emphasis. “You’re so much better at it.”
Ivy rolls her eyes, but she unclicks the bottle again, and Harley falls asleep with Ivy’s fingers spreading lotion across her shins.
She wakes to a twinge in her stomach. Harley pushes up on her elbows, looking down, and the skin there is pink, just on the cusp of a true burn.
There’s lotion there, but not spread out properly. Instead it’s in the shape of a heart, with Ivy’s name written inside. Harley smears it aside, to find the message branded into her skin, the heart and name pale against the stinging pink.
Harley grins, liking the idea of wearing Ivy’s mark of ownership. Looks like she’ll be spending the rest of the summer in cropped tops so she can show it off.
