It was several hours after having watched Alison and moved on to Cosima. So, she was the science girl, she thought with amusement. Geeky though she did look, but she didn't seem like your typical, bookish, nervous geek.
From here, Angie could tell there was an air of toughness around her. Someone who didn't take other people's bullshit, said what she meant most of the time, and when she says "get out", she means it, and the person had better leave quickly.
Cosima's posture and the quick dart of her eyes behind her thick glasses told her she was guarded and wary. Of what? The same thing Alison was hiding? Did they face the same problem? She wondered if she was expecting someone to shoot her point blank.
Beth, Sarah, Alison, Cosima. Same face, the same look in their eyes: watching out for death.
Cop, or no cop, even if she got suspended, or worse. She would figure this out.
