"Hey Sara have you seen my..." Laurel froze in the doorway.
Sara was on her bed, wide-eyed. She was naked. With her head between her legs was the also nude Nyssa.
Laurel immediately spun around. Sara and Nyssa scrambled to pull sheets over themselves.
All three were mortified. None of them knew what to say or do.
"I'll be...somewhere else," Laurel said. Without turning she hurriedly left, pulling the door closed behind her.
"She was going to find out eventually," Nyssa said.
They shared a look, Sara seeing the smile Nyssa was struggling to control.
"This isn't funny," Sara whacked her on the arm. She looked at the door, remembering the look on her sister's face. "Okay, yeah, it's funny." She smiled and ran her hands through her hair. "How am I ever going to look Laurel in the face again?"
"I think there will be embarrassment, for both of you," said Nyssa.
"No shit."
"But you'll get over it."
Sara took her hand. "You're right, we will." Sara kissed her lover on the cheek. "I just wish I could have told her myself."
On the bed they held each other.
